One of the founder members of the original ten-team Top Dog Football league, the Barrybados Benefitcheats hold the unenviable record of being the only outfit yet to record a winning campaign, coming closest in seasons one and six, when they finished 6-8. The team’s only notable success has come in the annual OYBASTBW Bowl, where the ‘Cheats face off against regular cross-divisional rival Whitchurch Ward Wanderers, but the team has also achieved the distinction of having most number one picks in the annual draft, including winning the first round-robin play-off for the ‘honour’ in season six.
