Born from the ashes of the Villains franchise, De'Warriors are one of only three TDF teams to have won the Dog Bowl in their inaugural season, ending the league's first decade with an unexpected triumph over the Diablos. Success shouldn't have been a shock, however, as the Villains had been knocking on the door of a title — including a trip to Dog Bowl IX — towards the end of owner Matt Kerry's tenure, a fact not lost in the respectful retention of the Villains logo on De'Warriors helmets.
